21.17 Tea at 16.00. Silence visited at tea & was accepted. The 2-figs-&-cheese-in-syrup plate also most acceptable.

Dinner at 19.00 with new visitors. A hesitancy in presenting comments. Silence visited & was accepted. Our work for this evening; guitars in the Ballroom in two Circles, with the Beginners in the inner circle & anyone else that would like to be there on the outside.
Post-dinner meeting with Director Nunez to view pictures of possible performance venues for The Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists in February. Our approach to the challenge & venues agreed. This & other arisings discussed.
22.36 The guitar meeting:
13 in the Inner Circle, 24 in the Outer, beginning with circulations. The Inner Circle found it difficult to count in 5 or 7. Eventually they settled for a count of 1 in a bar of one.
Inner & Outer circles tried down & up beats, although sometimes it was difficult to distinguish which was a down & which an up.
Moving to 2 circles in the Outer, one in 5 & the second in 7, with the Inner Circle continuing with 1 in a bar of one, although exactly where 1 fell in a bar of 1 was sometimes also difficult to determine.
Moving to whizz circulating, with one group of the Inner Circle & 2 groups in the Outer Circle, these two groups coming together for full Outer Circle whizzes.
Towards the end, the whizz was moving around the full Outer Circle of 24 guitars every c. 2 seconds, then every c. 1.5 seconds, then with an astonishing phase shift the whizzing flew around the full Outer Circle once every second. This then shifted, once more, to almost instantaneous before disappearing inside itself on a tight flam of a single downbeat.
